Spa Remedy was created in 2014 by husband & wife team, Jim and Maggie Kuckie. Maggie was working as an operating room nurse at Riverside and had been a nurse for 4 years at the time of Spa Remedy beginnings. Having also been a licensed massage therapist for 9 years at this time, Maggie had a desire to continue offering massages and provide more preventative health options to the community so sat to discuss this one morning in June of 2014 with Jim. Jim was working as a Sales Manager at Best Buy in Orland at this time and had always dreamt of building a business and doing more! This husband and wife team went to work, finding their first location in Bradley, IL and within a week developed their LLC to begin their entrepreneurial journey.
As a side note, working together wasn't completely new to this husband-wife team that met while working together 10 years prior at Farm & Fleet!
As of 2021, 7 years in business, Spa Remedy has grown and changed, credited to the "Dream Team" staff with their input, expertise, and dedication to the mission of helping you "Look, Feel, Be a better you".
